From the Editor

This isn’t an easy editor’s comment to write – Retra is set to close at the end of March, after almost 82 years in business. I was very grateful to Retra CEO, Howard Saycell, when he asked me to become editor of Alert. Thanks for the opportunity and the support, Howard. By sheer coincidence, Retra is closing on my 50th birthday, March 31 2024, so let’s raise a glass to all it’s achieved since it formed in 1942 and hope for a bright and successful future under Bira. Cheers. Sean Hannam
