How to get started

To get started, please log in to your member account to view your Bira Legal contact details, or become a member via Bira Legal.



*Bira Legal advice must be taken from the start prior to acting to ensure you are eligible for the indemnity cover. Only available for retail members and Bira Direct suppliers who have 275 employees or less. Insurance is provided subject to policy terms. £5,000 excess per claim. You can download a copy of the Bira Legal expenses insurance policy here. We only require contact concerning employment matters.

All full retail members of Bira have access to the helpline. Advice is available 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Mon to Fri (excl. public holidays). Bira members with 275 or fewer employees have the added benefit of insurance indemnity. All full members, including associate members and those with over 275 employees, are entitled to Bira specially negotiated terms for individual services from WorkNest (the Employment Law, HR and Health and Safety experts)
