Appliance brand Stoves has kickstarted an induction awareness campaign.
The multi-channel initiative will see Stoves undertake digital media activity, partnerships with influencers, competitions in key consumer media and the launch of a dedicated ‘Induction Technology’ landing page.
Activity will be focused on promoting the smarter, faster, safer, greener benefits of induction cooking technology and showcasing Stoves’ comprehensive induction range cooker offering.
All activity will be underpinned by a free installation offer, made available to interested retailers, offering free installation on selected Stoves induction range cookers.
As part of its Stoves Deluxe range cooker offering, Stoves currently offers rotary controlled, touch controlled and zoneless induction.
In what it claims is a world first, Stoves applied zoneless induction to a range cooker, with the unveiling of its FreedomFLEX zoneless induction hotplates.
FreedomFLEX allows the user to position pans of any shape or size anywhere on the hotplate.
Steve Dickson, head of marketing and innovation at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, said: “In a challenging market, induction has remained a resilient sector, attracting new consumers to the category.
“Despite this, we believe there are many consumers out there who don’t understand the technology and would benefit from it.
“We are supporting our retailers by launching this campaign to communicate the benefits of induction.
“We are proud to have invested in the most comprehensive induction offering on range cooking in the industry and wanted to work with retailers to highlight the potential benefits to consumers.”
Retailers who would like to take advantage of the free installation offer, should contact their Stoves regional sales manager.
