Haier has unveiled a new refrigerator range designed to redefine home food preservation by going beyond the traditional boundaries of refrigeration.
Haier officially launched the Horizon Collection at the Royal Observatory Greenwich and Queen's House in London, choosing the location to symbolically reinforce the brand's commitment to redefining the concept of time applied to freshness.
Haier has been the world's leading brand in refrigeration for 18 consecutive years, with a presence in 200 countries and regions. The brand ranks first globally for the number of patents in the refrigeration sector for eight consecutive years, with 1,818 patents published in 2025.
The Horizon Collection is a range designed to meet different needs in terms of space, style and functionality, with a capacity reaching 700 litres and a freezer drawer expanded by up to 35 litres compared to market standards. The range includes models available up to Energy Class C, among the highest energy performance levels currently achievable in this capacity segment.
At the heart of the collection lies NutriBank, a proprietary technology that allows meat and fish to be preserved five times longer without freezing, maintaining up to 95 per cent of proteins without compromising integrity or flavour. Developed over more than five years of research, involving over 100 specialists and more than 10,000 tests, NutriBank is supported by 204 dedicated patents.
The ecosystem is enhanced by Active Fresh Zone, maintaining humidity levels of up to 90 per cent to preserve fruit and vegetables for longer, Custom Zones allowing precise temperature adjustment, and the antibacterial system ABT Pro, capable of eliminating 99.99 per cent of bacteria and neutralising odours.

Models equipped with Water & Ice Experience integrate either an internal tank or plumbed system and Auto Ice Maker, also available in Dual configuration. Versions featuring glass doors and Motion Glow technology introduce enhanced visual interaction.
With the AI Food Care System, Horizon introduces intelligent inventory management including automatic scanning, food recognition, expiry tracking and recommendations for optimal storage conditions. In models featuring a Smart Window of up to 27 inches, users can view contents without opening the door.
