Haier has signed up TV chef and restauranteur, Nisha Katona, as its brand ambassador.
The partnership will see her promote Haier’s portfolio of appliances, including connected ovens, hobs, hoods refrigeration and wine banks.
Ms Katona, who is a food expert and author, will front campaigns across PR and advertising, as well as get involved with competitions and events.
She will also feature in social media imagery and video content.
Commenting on the partnership, she said: “My mission is to enrich lives. I’m looking forward to continuing to do this by partnering with Haier, such a well-known and respected leader in its field.
“Helping people discover their capabilities using Haier’s products is something I’m really looking forward to doing.”
Haier recently launched Series 2 and 6, ranges of ovens, hobs and hoods.
These new built-in ranges are said to offer tailor-made solutions for the modern home that combine the best of premium technology to deliver a more intelligent and efficient way of cooking.
Jim McEwan, Haier’s chief commercial officer for the UK and Ireland, said: “This is the fusion of two strong leaders in their respective fields.
“We are proud to begin this relationship with Nisha, who will bring our appliances to life and showcase them in the passionate way that she brings to everything she does.”
